Amber graduated from Texas A&M University with both her Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting and Master of Science, Accounting degrees. After graduation, she began her career in public accounting, working for both PriceWaterhouse Coopers, LLP and Arthur Andersen, LLP. She then shifted to private accounting and spent the next thirteen years working for Grande Communications Inc., Fired Up Inc. (parent company of the Johnny Carino's restaurants), and The Flippen Group. During this time period she served in roles such as Financial Reporting Manager, Assistant Controller, and Controller, responsible for all external and internal financial reporting. During 2013 a move presented the opportunity to start Amber L. Bone, CPA, PLLC, primarily working with small clients. In addition to client practice, she began her career as an accounting professor. With her accounting background and experience in the classroom, she now brings a unique approach to assisting clients with their accounting needs, coming alongside to help them truly understand the financial aspects of their business. Whether serving clients or students, she enjoys being able to help others learn about accounting and the value it brings to individuals and business owners!
